Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is an impressive art museum in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum was founded in 1888 by the famous brewer Carl Jacobsen and houses one of the largest collections of antique and modern works of art in Scandinavia.

The Glyptothek, as it is popularly called, houses more than 10,000 works of art, ranging from Egyptian artefacts to Greek and Roman sculptures, paintings from French Impressionism and Danish and international modernism. The collection also includes a large collection of Danish art and a research library with a book collection that contains monographs, conference reports and a number of journals within Egyptian archaeology, classical archeology and Danish and French art from the 19th century.
