Large experience center
You can take a fantastic art and culture journey through Skulpturparken Blokhus' huge park, where you can experience a wealth of exhibitions, which are regularly replaced during the year. In addition, the experience center has a packed program with exciting exhibitions and activities for the whole family.

Beautiful cycle route
The panorama routes are a collection of cycle routes all over Denmark, where you cycle through some of Denmark's most beautiful areas and often with beautiful views. Hence the name panoramic routes.
In Blokhus, you can cycle the Panorama route Saltum – a 29 km long route that passes a lot of wonderful experiences in the area.
One of Denmark's most beautiful hiking routes
Tranum-Fosdalen is one of only 4 hiking routes in Denmark that has been awarded as a Premium Hiking Route by the recognized German Hiking Institute, which sets high standards for variety in tracks, cultural experiences along the way, etc. Therefore, we warmly recommend taking the trip from Blokhus to Tranum and walking the 11 km long hike with our map that tells about experiences along the way.
A monastery from the Middle Ages
Explore the historic and beautiful Børglum Monastery just outside Løkken. The monastery offers a wealth of exhibitions, events and experiences for the whole family all year round - And if you think the monastery looks familiar, it's because it is. In 2011, Børglum Kloster formed the framework for the Christmas calendar Ludvig og Julemanden.

Worth a trip with children
Aalborg Zoo is one of Denmark's most visited attractions, and the animal park near the city is a true classic and a big hit with families with children, which we can't avoid. Especially families with children choose to take the trip during their holidays in North Jutland.
Iconic landmark for Blokhus
It almost lends itself - no visit to Blokhus without a walk on the beach and down past the iconic bathhouses. The bathhouses have been a fixture in the summer on Blokhus Strand since the beginning of the 20th century, and they therefore create a genuine North Jutland summer atmosphere.
The bathhouses are privately owned, and it is therefore not possible to rent one of the iconic houses as a visitor - however, the spectacular view is definitely worth a visit!
Unique nature experience
North of Blokhus, Løkken and Lønstrup you will find one of Denmark's largest landmarks, Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse. A place just to be experienced! The rather well-known lighthouse stands in the middle of the barren and rugged North Jutland nature, and was a few years ago about to fall into the violent North Sea - However, it was decided to move the lighthouse, which turned out to be something that you not just just do.
