Visit the fig farm
At Hideaway you will find Northern Europe's largest collection of fig trees planted out in the open, as many as 70 different varieties! Visitors are welcome to stroll among the many fig trees and enjoy the sight of the exotic plants that contribute to the vineyard's Mediterranean atmosphere.
Enjoy a lunch at the tractor site
After a tour of Fejø, you can enjoy a delicious lunch in the tractor restaurant, under one of the fig trees in the courtyard. In addition, the vineyard's southern style and colors really give you the feeling of being in a cozy restaurant along the Mediterranean Sea. The food is inspired by dishes from France, Italy and Greece, but prepared from local ingredients, to which you can enjoy the vineyard's delicate, organic wines. The winery specializes in white wines and sparkling wine. NB. Pay attention to the winery's opening hours!
Experience wine tastings and more
If you take part in a tour lasting 1½ hours, with tasting of 3 wines along the way, you will learn a lot about the special microclimate on the island and the ABC of viticulture. You will definitely also get a few AHA experiences along the way, when the winery's dedicated owners talk about figs, wine and life on Fejø.

If you want to take some of Hideaway Vingård's wines home, you can buy them on site in Traktørstedet, or online via the winery's webshop, where you will find all of the winery's wines. Eg. the winery's signature wine Gåsefod, which is a white wine from the Solaris grape, made exactly as a winemaker in the Mosel region would use the sweet and sun-ripened Solaris grapes.
Enjoy a stay in the wine cottages
For those who want a very special night at the vineyard, Karin offers accommodation in 3 different vineyard cabins. Included in the stay is a tandem bicycle, own terrace with beautiful deck chairs, a bottle of the winery's signature wine, breakfast tray, and access to delicious communal facilities.
