Panorama Route 408:
Fjord of the Birds

The trip here goes from the summer country over the typical West Jutland landscape to a distinctive and impressive natural area: Vest Stadil Fjord. It is the fjord of the birds, and already on the way there you see them in the sky and hear an increasingly insistent chirping. You can take the binoculars with you or you can choose to just sit on a sun-warmed footbridge and listen to the sounds of nature.

Panorama route 409:
Sky, Sea And Art

This bike ride takes you to the best views of the North Sea and Nissum Bredning. It also goes to places where the region's history is told and where artists show their interpretation of sky and sea. Along the way, the coastal landscape lies before you as a panorama of light, land and water, and in no time you will arrive at the water's edge.

National Cycle Route 4:
Denmark across

N4 "Danmark på Tværs" is one of four east-west national cycle routes and the only one that goes via Samsø. It differs from the other routes by going through some of Denmark's largest natural areas.

The 331 km long route takes you across the country from the west coast to the capital. Although it is not close to the coast like many of the other routes, there are views of the water on several sections: Ringkøbing Fjord, Skjern Å, etc.

Local route 760

The route around Ringkøbing Fjord stretches over almost 100 km and has many exciting experiences along the way. Therefore, we recommend setting aside a day or two for the trip so that you have the opportunity to see and enjoy it all.

Gjerrildbanestien

The Gjerrildbanestien is a very special experience that differs from most other paths and roads. While most trails follow the natural shape of the terrain, the Gjerrildbanestien is fixed in its own plan, while the landscape around it is constantly changing. The path stretches between Gjerrild and Ryomgård and follows the former railway line that once connected these two destinations.

Regional route 21: Alhedestien

The Alhedestien is a fascinating cycle route that follows the disused Herning-Viborg railway. This continuous trail stretches between Viborg and Herning and offers a mix of historical memories, scenic surroundings and interesting sights along the way.

Regional route 29:
Silkeborg/Randers

The nature trail stretches for 53 km and follows the disused railway line, meaning you can cycle without being bothered by car traffic. This route is ideal for those who want to enjoy a pleasant cycle ride in scenic surroundings.

Regional route 31: Bryrupbanestien

This beautiful cycle path follows the former Bryrup Railway and is ideal for both cyclists and walkers.

On the Bryrupbanestien you can expect to be captivated by the scenic and varied surroundings. The route takes you through picturesque landscapes, lush forests and passes several idyllic lakes and streams. Along the way, you can enjoy the sight of the beautiful landscape and listen to the sounds of nature.

Regional route 35: Samsø

Samsø is a fantastic island that is perfect for family-friendly cycling trips, and the flat terrain makes it easy to cycle around. The nature on the island is incredibly beautiful and impressive. The locals on Samsø are very conscious of protecting the island's environment, and they are self-sufficient in renewable energy.
