Scandinavian Animal Park

Discover the fantastic animals of the Nordic region!

If you want to experience the fantastic Nordic animals, you can start at the Scandinavian Animal Park! Here you can meet polar bears, brown bears, wolves, sea eagles, deer and many other Nordic animals.

The animal park is located in the middle of Aarhus, Randers and Grenaa in the heart of Djursland. Natural surroundings help to create this wonderful attraction.

Experience the animals up close

The animals always come first, and as a guest you get a unique opportunity to get close to the animals from long walkways that wind through the wonderful and genuine nature of the park.

Experience some of the earth's largest land-dwelling predators in a large, lifelike environment.

The animal guides tell

When the animals are fed, the animal guides talk about the animals at the same time, so you can get to know them better. Come and hear all the exciting and educational stories from the real world of animals!

If you would like to try feeding the animals yourself, you can walk past the cheeky fallow deer and goats, who would like to be fed by hand.

Dinner time?

Around the park you will find many covered picnic areas where you can enjoy your packed lunch!

If you haven't brought your own packed lunch, Café Bjælkehuset is ready with dishes inspired by the "wild kitchen". Here you will find tasty specialities, fresh salads, delicious grill menus, and something for the sweet tooth.

You can also order a barbecue package in advance of your visit, which can be prepared in the Grillhytten.

Overnight with the animals

The park also offers a rather cool experience for those of you who want unique experiences, because it is possible to spend the night here!

You can either sleep in a lavvu, the Sami's answer to a teepee, or choose shelters. Cool right?

Christmas in the Animal Park

This year, Christmas is held in Dyreparken. There are lots of fun activities waiting for you!

Experience, among other things a very special polar bear feeding, or write a letter to Santa Claus. As something completely unique, you can also help feed the reindeer so they can get ready for Christmas Eve!
