Diamond Jubilee

OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN exhibition at Øregaard Museum

🎄 Dates: 3 November – 17 December 2023
📍 Location: Ørehøj All 2, 2900 Hellerup

Flowers, leaves, snakes and elephants – for 60 years, nature has been an endless source of inspiration for goldsmith and jewelery designer Ole Lynggaard and later his daughter, Charlotte Lynggaard. Their passion for transforming precious metals, diamonds and precious gemstones into dream jewelry has made them known worldwide. From 3 November 2023, Øregaard Museum in Hellerup will present an exhibition called “Diamond Jubilee. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen – jewelery design over 60 years”. The exhibition will showcase a careful selection of handmade jewelery from 1963 to 2023, including finger rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches and much more.

The story of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen

...began on 1 June 1963, when Ole Lynggaard opened his goldsmith's workshop in Hellerup. The company, which started as a single workshop, has now grown into an internationally recognized jewelery house with Ole Lynggaard's two children, Charlotte and Søren Lynggaard, at the helm. The third generation, represented by Charlotte Lynggaard's daughter, Sofia Lynggaard Normann, has also left its mark on the brand by designing its first collection.

Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is known for its sublime craftsmanship and has created exclusive jewelery inspired by nature since 1963. Their designs are timeless and eternal, combining ancient traditions with modern techniques. Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with precision and dedication. The company is also proud to be a Royal Court supplier.

With six flagship stores, 201 global dealers and 160 employees, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is a worldwide success. But despite this international presence, the workshop and head office remain in Hellerup, in the same street where Ole Lynggaard started his journey.

Øregaard Museum has previously presented exhibitions that highlight Danish art and design with local roots. With the exhibition on Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, the museum continues this tradition and presents another chapter in the rich history of Danish jewelery art.
