Heartland Festival
An event in June that is more than just a festival. It is an event that lasts 4 days and is located in the middle of the magical Egeskov castle park. Here you can satisfy your hunger for the latest and groundbreaking music, immerse yourself in the great art experiences, and literally satisfy your hunger for world-class gourmet food.
And of course it is not enough:
At the festival, you can also be inspired when you visit one of Northern Europe's most acclaimed stages for live talks, when national - as well as international - guests visit the stage!
Tinderbox
Join one of Denmark's biggest music festivals! With a broad line-up from both international world stars, well-known Danish artists and electronic music, you can do nothing but get the mood up and an experience of a lifetime.
Is that the only thing?
No! Let yourself be torn apart by the best classics from the 90s, or experience comedy in Groovebox - otherwise you can become part of the square's small happenings throughout the festival. There is something for everyone!
HC Andersens Festival
Are you going on a trip through Hans Christian Andersen's adventurous universe? Every year in week 34, you can relive the good, old fairy tale classics when theater performances, lectures and guided tours hit Odense.
And it gets better:
Not only that, you can also experience street art, concerts, light shows and much more. There is something for everyone at one of Denmark's largest cultural festivals!
Danehof
It is very exciting every year in the beginning of June, when the organizers announce the date next to this year's Danehof.
When Danehof - a world-class medieval festival - comes to Nyborg, Nyborg Castle is packed with market stalls and merchandise in true medieval spirit. With music, fun and theater, Nyborg's history really comes to life.
And what makes it so good:
To make the festival as authentic as possible, processions, knights' tournaments, medieval ships and exclusive food events are arranged, so that you can taste the Middle Ages in the right setting!
Culinary South Funen
Come to this summer's large food market on South Funen and get a blast of a taste explosion from the market's stalls.
Come and try the exhibitors 'delicious specialties when they present their local ingredients, which characterize the small islands' good quality and taste.

The organizers have decided to hold several small events so you can have a great gastronomic experience all year round!
Langelandsfestival
What started as a small garden party, has today developed into a large, modern festival with several stages, beautiful stage shows, theme bars, street food food stalls, children's land with a sea of activities and much more!

The festival is an experience for the whole family. What was before a garden party is now Denmark's largest family festival, where cosiness, community and music are paramount.
Green Concert
Grøn Koncert is touring around Denmark, and will be visiting Odense in July. Here you can experience a wealth of different artists during the day, while of course there are stalls with food and drink!
And did you know?
All profits from the Green Concert go to the Muskelsvindfonden's work, and you thereby support a good cause when you buy your ticket for one of this year's great experiences.
Silver rudder
Help the sailors have a good wind when participants from all over Europe come to compete about who can sail all over Funen the fastest - all alone.
The record is 15 hours and 34 minutes, with most participants taking over a day to complete the race. Silverrudder - The Challenge of The Sea - is a battle against the clock, the competitors and one's own endurance.
Did you know?
Silverrudder is the world's largest singlehandled off-shore category 3 regetta - in relation to the number of participants!
Midtfyns festival
At Dyreskuepladsen in Ringe, you will find the beautiful folk festival, where music and community are paramount. The festival consists of several areas where you can experience a little different: the live concerts, dogma concerts, the time pocket, the food stalls and the bars. A festival with a guarantee of a pleasant experience!

Midtfyn's festival has an extra area called Smuglommen, which consists of a "secret" tent, where you can have an experience you did not expect.
Magic Days
Get some magic in everyday life when Magic Days occupy Odense city center. Let magic take over everyday life when Magic Days spread the literature to families with children, young people and magic lovers through small events and games.
How long is it:
Every autumn, magic is cast over Odense for 3 days, where everyone has the opportunity to find their inner wizard!
Rock Under The Bridge
Slip past Middelfart when Rock Under Broen settles down by Lillebæltsbroen! Here you can rock along to the famous songs when great artists take the stage.

AvernaX
Get 3 days at Munke Strand packed with good music, good food from local ingredients and cold drinks in your own cup. Everything you could want in idyllic areas with sand between your toes and views of the sea.
