Denmark's Best Gourmet Restaurants

In order to find and name Denmark's Best Gourmet restaurants, we have created a poll where you can vote for your local candidate in the best X-Factor style via SMS or through our appAlong the way, we will also find winners for the best gourmet experiences in North Jutland, Central Jutland, South Jutland, Funen & Islands and Zealand & Islands..

Requirements for participants: In principle, all restaurants can call themselves gourmet restaurants, but in order not to have an endless list, we require that the restaurant must be included in the Michelin Guide or White Guide Denmark with the classification Master Class.

The historic seaside hotel is located on the first floor down to the water in the idyllic Gl. Skagen. Ruths Hotel serves exclusive gastronomic experiences in their two restaurants. In Ruth's Gourmet, fresh North Jutland ingredients are used as a starting point, and is a dining experience that you will not soon forget. In Ruth's Brasserie you will get a glimpse into French cuisine, and during a visit to the restaurant you can almost feel the warmer climates.

VesterØL / VesterVenners Badehotel Strandgaarden

The historic Strandgaarden Badehotel on idyllic Læsø can be dated back to 1727. In 2022, the beach hotel got a new owner and to lease the place, the talented people at the extremely popular gourmet restaurant Vesterøl were brought in. Therefore, you must now visit Strandgaarden if you want to taste the food that Nordjyske in 2021 gave 6 forks.

The Danish Dining Guide

The Danish Dining Guide is a recognized guide that since 1978 has reviewed restaurants that serve food out of the ordinary in various price ranges. Food critic Bent Christensen is behind the dining guide, which contains over 250 different restaurants throughout the country.

Molskroen offers an absolutely fantastic gourmet experience in scenic and beautiful surroundings. At the gourmet restaurant, you have the opportunity to relax and enjoy an all-night experience, where taste and quality are paramount.

Falsled Kro

At Falsled Kro, attention to detail is paramount, and the emphasis is on delicious ingredients. This is reflected in the herb and vegetable garden that the restaurant has established in the backyard, where guests can go out and pick up fresh ingredients. Falsled Kro has been honored in the prestigious White Guide, where they are ranked as the 19th best restaurant in all of Denmark.
