5 km 

Gilbjergstien

2.6 km long (5.2 km round trip) heart path in Gilleleje that takes you along the coast of North Zealand and, among other things, past Gilbjerg Hoved and Søren Kierkegaard's memorial stone. Kierkegaard, who is considered Gilleleje's first tourist, often sat here and philosophized.

Route 137 – or “360 degree view”, as the route is also called – is a fantastic route that includes everything you could wish for: Changing nature and landscapes, where you both get right down to the water but also get magnificent views, everything together mixed with historical, cultural and culinary places such as Dragsholm Castle and Vejrhøj Vingård.

The clover paths

The Kløverstieren is a nationwide concept where several good routes have been created in the local areas, so you can get out and rediscover your home town - or hire tourists in other towns. And there is probably one near you!

There are different lengths of routes so there is something for everyone.
In addition, it is possible to walk, cycle and even ride a wheelchair on some of the routes!

9 km 

Store Gribsø and Fruebjerg

Explore the beautiful hilly landscape, which consists of forest, bogs and flower meadows, on the 8.5 km long hike. During the route, you will even be led past the well-preserved burial chamber, which is more than 5,000 years old!

And views have not gone down on:

Come up on the steepest hill in Gribskov, where you are 65 meters above sea level and on clear days, can look over to Arresø.

Christian IV's City Tour

A city walk in the footsteps of Christian IV is an immersive tour of 6.5 km through Copenhagen's history.

This route is a journey back in time, taking you past majestic architecture and historical sites that reflect the era of the visionary king. From the towers of Rosenborg Castle to the charming streets of Christianshavn, the tour opens up a unique insight into the life of one of Denmark's most significant monarchs.

Around Nekselø

A hike on Nekselø is a unique experience for nature lovers and adventurous souls. The island offers a magnificent piece of hill country, where uncultivated fields stretch out in blooming colors. Despite its modest size, Nekselø manages to impress with its magnificent nature and breathtaking views of both lush fields and the endless sea.

9 km 

Around Gurre Sø

Escape the pulsating life of the city and take the 9.3 km round trip at Gurre Sø. The walk along the lake, over the wooden bridge and through the beautiful forest is the setting for an extremely pleasant trip in an almost fairytale setting.

9 km 

Russia

Russia is closer than you think. At Dronningmølle in Northeast Zealand, there is a beautiful nature area called Russia. Along the paths are beautiful bronze statues, which show the artist Rudolph Tegner's mythological interpretations in the time around the First World War and the interwar years.

And that's not the only thing:

In the southern part of the route you can meet the 100-year-old juniper bushes, which are the only ones of their kind on Zealand.

Medium-length trips (10 - 20 km)

15 km 

Tisvilde Hegn

Move around the fairy-tale troll forest with this 15 km long route - which offers extremely beautiful natural areas. A nature experience you won't soon forget.

There are also attractions:

During the hike you will, among other things. encounter Asserbo Castle ruins, which are definitely worth a visit!

 

11 km 

Around Skarresø

The Skarresø Rundt route is a charming combination of cycling and hiking that stretches over approx. 11 km.

The entire route is clearly marked with yellow arrows. Along the way, you will cross through the picturesque estate and forest areas such as Bjergsted Skov, Astrup Gods and Dønnerup Gods. The route markings also provide insight into which landowner's forest and land you are on. However, be aware of a small part of the route that runs along an asphalted country road where car traffic may occur.

10 km 

Skjoldungelandet paths

Skjoldungestierne consists of 2 nature-created paths - one of 10 km and one of 30 km - which offer beautiful nature areas and exciting cultural history from the Viking Age.

What to see:

During the trip you will, among other things. encounter a 100-meter-long nave, which served as a burial ground in the 10th century, and the excavated royal halls, which in the Iron Age and Viking Age were used for parties and ceremonies.

20 km 

Stevns Klint Trampesti

At Stevns Klint Trampesti you get hikes with beautiful and surprising views with the Baltic Sea as your companion. The route runs along the white and curved cliff edge and offers unforgettable experiences. If you only want to go one way, you can rent a country bike or perhaps take Klintebussen.dk the opposite way.

27 km 

The Amarmino

Whether you need an hour of fresh air under the open sky or a long hike over several days, Amarminoen's various natural areas are an obvious setting for great experiences of calm and contemplation, while still having the pulse of the city within reach.

35 km 

Hiking to the 6 Forgotten Giants

Welcome to this enchanting troll route where you can meet the impressive sculptures of Thomas Dambo – six giant trolls hidden in the landscape, waiting to be discovered by curious souls like you.

27 km 

Esrum Lake

Come on a hike by Denmark's second largest lake. The 27 km long trip takes you both through the forest and along the shore at Esrum Sø. At the start of the route, you will even pass Esrum Kloster and Esrum Møllegaard, which today is set up as an experience centre.

And should that not be enough:

When you get past Esrum Møllegaard, you come to Daniels Kilde. The spring was to be said to be healing - it is even said that a monk from Esrum Monastery once drank from the spring, and was healed from disease.
