Whiskey is not a Danish invention, and probably very few people associate Denmark with historical whiskey traditions. Many will probably lean a little bit more to the west, where the Scots have centuries of whiskey distilling traditions. Although scotch is a heavyweight in the whiskey class, Braunstein has nevertheless managed to make the dream of Danish whiskey a reality, and is now opening the doors to a world of malt, mash and oak casks.
