When you walk down the granite stairs in the old pump house at Sydhavnen in the center of Aarhus, you enter the heart of Njord Gin Distillery. Here, handmade gin is produced in small quantities and in numbered bottles. In the main room with 8 meters to the ceiling stands the hand-forged copper still, Fr. Müller, handsome and shining from his altar in the heart of the production room. In here you can clearly feel the passion and love for producing tasty and complex gin. It is Denmark's first dedicated gin distillery, and with several great medals, Njord Gin is already well on its way to the goal of making the world's best gin.
