Njord is best known for naming Denmark's original gin, but also has great expertise in producing other spirits and not least cocktails. At this cocktail workshop, Njord offers an inside look at their distillery and development facilities at Sydhavnen in Aarhus, where you will immediately get a cocktail in hand and then learn the art of making tasty cocktails yourself. At Njord, it oozes passion and love for producing tasty and complex spirits and the many different kinds of cocktails that can be made based on their products. The distillery has won several great medals and is particularly known for their avant-garde gins, while their experimental Njord Ligalab has developed e.g. critically acclaimed vermouth, and elderflower liqueur and cocktails sold by the bottle and keg across the country. With this spirit as the focal point, Njord Gin Distillery develops cocktails themselves, which are served in restaurants and bars across the country, among other things. At this cocktail workshop you will learn to make both reinterpreted classics and delicious, more unconventional cocktails – and of course taste them too. All this takes place in the distillery's beautiful surroundings and with the same playful and experimental spirit that characterizes the distillery and its products.
