Sønderborg is a beautiful city, which we have called our attention to several times in recent years. Among other things, we have been over to award diplomas to the country's best ice house in 2020 as well as best burger in 2019.

Curry Leaves

There are not many places in Denmark that we can boast of being able to get Indian in the delicious and authentic way. Behind Curry Leaves is Sivakumar from Sri Lanka, and he makes sure that they in Southern Jutland do not have to drive far for delicious Indian.

Iskonditoriet

If you're going to Sønderborg, you can't miss Iskonditoriet! They make the most delicious homemade ice cream, produced fresh every morning. The place is so popular that in 2020 they won our vote for Denmark's Best Ice Cream Parlor!

Lazy Dog

…and ice cream isn’t the only thing they’re exceptionally good at making in Sønderborg. In 2019, the city also boasted Denmark’s Best Burger. We highly recommend the place’s specialty, a bacon burger with homemade “bacon jam.”
