Birkegården Gardens

Birkegårdens Haver is for families, garden enthusiasts and groups.
Here you will find everything you need for a wonderful excursion; 5 beautiful gardens, a cozy café, beautiful
gift shop, animal enclosure and play and picnic areas.

Garden lovers can experience 5 different gardens, each offering their own special
experience all year round. Here is Denmark's largest Japanese garden, the colorful
English gardens, the magnificent Prairiehave, the Klosterhaven with medicinal herbs and the
unique permaculture garden. You can have a delicious lunch in Café Klokkeblomst and look
into the beautiful gift shop.

Families with children can experience several play areas and an animal area with donkeys, among others,
pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and other bird species. Most four-legged animals you can walk
in to. During the season there are 19 super fun Children's Days with, among other things, treasure hunts and

Birkegården Gardens has an additional mini golf course, several picnic areas where you can
enjoy your brought food, or you can buy lunch in the café. Pull-carts and
Wheelchairs are free to borrow and parking is free. You can even
spend the night in the shelter. They are open in late spring, summer, Halloween and Christmas!

Activities for the whole family

In addition to the impressive gardens, Birkegårdens Haver offers a number of activities for the whole family. There is an animal area with various farm animals that visitors can get up close and pet. For the children, there are several playgrounds, a mini golf course and the opportunity to participate in various activities such as treasure hunts and donkey rides on selected days.

For those who want to enjoy a bite to eat, Café Klokkeblomst offers a selection of cold, warm and light dishes as well as coffee and homemade cake. There are also several picnic areas with barbecue facilities where guests can enjoy brought-in food.

Butik Liljen, located on site, offers a large selection of gift items, specialty foods, and a smaller selection of the garden's summer flowers and perennials.
