The animal park is located midway between Aarhus, Randers and Grenaa in the heart of Djursland.

The animals always come first, and as a guest you get a unique opportunity to get up close to the animals from the long walkways that wind through the wonderful nature of the park.
Meet one of the large polar or brown bears in the barn – a place where only the zookeepers roam. Feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you stand just 1 meter from the giant predator.
When the animals are fed in the park, the animal guides will also tell you about the animals so you can get to know them better. Come and hear all the exciting and educational stories from the real world of the animals!
If you would like to try feeding the animals yourself, you can stop by the fallow deer and goats, which love to be hand-fed.
Experience a magical night at Scandinavian Wildlife Park – sleep in the middle of the animal world with your family, friends, class or camp school.
You can choose to spend the night in an atmospheric shelter, an authentic Sami tent or the brand new polar bear hut.
When darkness falls, the park transforms. Far from the lights and noise of the city, tranquility descends, and nature's own sounds emerge – the rustling of leaves, birds chirping, and perhaps a distant wolf howl or bear roar in the night.
An overnight stay in Scandinavian Animal Park is not just a night under the open sky – it is an experience you will never forget.
Around the park you will find many covered picnic areas where you can enjoy your packed lunch!
If you don't have your own packed lunch, Café Log House ready with dishes inspired by “wild cuisine”. Here you will find tasty specialties, fresh salads, delicious grill menus, and a little something for the sweet tooth.
You can also order a barbecue package in advance of your visit, which can be prepared in the Grillhytten.
Every year, Christmas and Halloween are held at Dyreparken. There are lots of fun activities waiting for you!
Experience a very special polar bear feeding, or write a letter to Santa Claus. As something completely unique, you can also help feed reindeer so they can get ready for Christmas Eve!
For Halloween, you can look forward to trick or treating, gore and (a little) spookiness when extra focus is placed on wolves, bears and ravens in the park.

All accommodation and travel are at your own risk.
– Children must always be accompanied by adults.
– Please stay on the paths.
– Be kind to the animals.
– Do not throw away your trash – the animals can die from eating it! Please use the trash racks.
– Smoking is only allowed at the picnic areas!
For the Polar Bear Park, the Wolf Park and the Brown Bear Park:
– Children are not allowed to stay alone in the parks.
– Please avoid running on the walkways.
– Climbing on the railing and fence is strictly prohibited.
– It is strictly forbidden to place children on the railing.
Dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the park, as you move close to several of the animals.
To give dog-loving guests a good experience, a dog kennel with four spacious dog crates – located in a shady area close to the main entrance.
Each box has a landing, roof, screening from the neighboring box, water bowl and access to running water. A “puddle bag” is also included for cleaning up after the dog.
Practical information
Dog parking cannot be booked in advance.
Parking is at your own risk, and a form with contact information must be filled out when picking up a padlock.
You are responsible for bringing and collecting your dog from the kennel.
It is of course possible to visit the dog as often as you wish during your stay in the park.
Booking and payment are made at the Entrance upon arrival.
Price for dog parking: 50.00 kr.
It is possible to rent a tractor for 50 kr.
The paths are paved with solid gravel, and it is usually possible to get around with a wheelchair.
Upon arrival, you are welcome to contact us at The entrance for advice on the most accessible route.
You are very welcome to bring your own. electric wheelchair, electric scooters or electric motocross bikes, but cars, larger vehicles and bicycles are not allowed in the park.
There is ramp access to the Entrance, Polar Bear Park, Elk Park, Wolf Park, Bear Park, Café Bjælkehuset and the toilets, so that everyone can enjoy their visit to Scandinavian Wildlife Park.
