Then you should consider a visit to the Springeren - Maritime experience center in Aalborg. The place is a special hit with children and maritime enthusiasts, as it is 15,000 sqm densely packed with small, fun experiences. You can e.g. get into a submarine and sail with remote-controlled boats.

The submarine Jumper

The experience center's main attraction is the submarine Springeren, which has also given its name to the center.

Here you can get into the last Danish-constructed submarine from 1964, which sailed until 1989 and ended up at the museum in Aalborg in 1992.

Here you can experience what it was like to be among the 33 crew members who had room.

Mini-marina

In the mini-marina you can borrow a remote-controlled boat and go on adventures. The pool is open for sailing at 10-13 every day during the summer holidays (week 26-31) and Saturdays / Sundays week 32-34 It's free and really fun.

Aalborg Miniby

With admission to Springeren, you also get access to Aalborg Miniby, which has been located in the experience center since 2011.

Here you can explore among the many small houses, there are miniature versions of many of the old houses you can experience in Aalborg Midtby, such as. Helmet stable.

Exhibitions and 15,000 sqm of fun ...

From the outside, it's hard to see how big the experience center is.

But with 15,000 sqm and 7 halls, there is plenty to go on experience in!

Visit e.g. The Shipyard Hall and the Model Hall, become a captain for a while with the virtual sailing simulator and much, much more.

When a break is needed, you can eat brought food and play on the large outdoor playground.
