Sønderskovens Nature Playground

The nature playground is located on Søndermarken in Vejle. From the bottom of the car park at Søndermarkshallen, there is a forest path that leads directly to the playground. On the forest path, you first pass a dog forest, then you arrive at the large nature playground.

There are many different facilities on the playground, several table and bench sets from which you have a good view of the playground. There is a covered area, so should you be unlucky to get a rain shower, brought food can be enjoyed in dry conditions.

There is also a barbecue and fire pit where there is firewood for free use. Firewood is found in a small covered hut, near the toilet you passed if you came from the Søndermarkhallen parking lot.

By the campfire on the playground near the big tower, there is a small passage through some bushes where on the other side you will find a forest theater, where children can have the opportunity to perform their most creative stories. On the playground you will also find a Western and Indian town called Sønder-Town, as well as a Tarzan track where even big children can burn some gunpowder.
