Simon and Anine
At Tilst near Aarhus, you will find Simon Selvgjort, who had been given a temporary place here back in 2015. During a storm, the troll overturned and broke, which was not seen as a big problem since it only had a temporary place.
However, a girl named Anine made a collection so that Thomas Dambo, and his team, could rebuild the troll. However, it was never quite the same, and Simon sits to this day working on a wooden friend. Hence the name "Simon and Anine".
Even more trolls since then
Since Simon and Anine joined, even more trolls have moved in, around Denmark. Among other things. during corona, where Thomas Dambo started "The Great Troll Folk Festival".
"The Great Troll Festival" is the name of the project that arose due to Covid-19. Thomas Dambo should actually have built 25 trolls around the world, but due to the pandemic, Thomas flew to Denmark, where the troll folk party was created with the help of a lot of volunteer labor from locals around Denmark.

Find the trolls with free app
At OpdagDanmark, we have created a free app that shows the way to thousands of experiences - e.g. playgrounds, child-friendly beaches, ice houses and much more – and of course all Thomas Dambo's trolls! We even have cycle and walking routes that go past several. of the trolls…
Before long you can also create folders and keep track of which trolls you have visited and which ones you are missing. But we are also developing a function so that you get a stamp in a troll passport every time you visit a troll...
The trolls hide in the town of Tilst outside Aarhus
Simon Selvgjort is troll #20, while Anine is #21.
Yes. The trolls are wheelchair accessible.
A little bad location
A shame the trolls Simon and Annie put so close to the main road.
