In 2020, Ottos Is opened in Blekingegade on Amager. The concept is to serve ice cold temptations, delicious coffee and delicacies with the best ingredients and ingredients.

The story of Otto
Behind the name Otto hides a slightly funny story.
The owners of Otto's Is, Jonas, Maja and Oluf Sverdrup are descendants of the polar researcher Otto Sverdrup. Otto may not have been as well known as Roald Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen as a polar researcher, but it may also be due to the fact that in 1904 he got tired of the cold and therefore traveled to Cuba, where he opened a banana plantation and lived out his dream.
It is this story of adventure and dreams that made Oluf and Maja name their ice cream shop after Otto - and it is probably also what has made you find a parrot in the logo and of course can get the banana split as a specialty.
