Lille Vildmose
Lille Vildmose is a beautiful nature area in North Jutland, which is not even that small. With its 7,600 hectares, it is Denmark's largest land conservation! And in the middle of it all, you will find Lille Vildmosecentret, an experience center that gives you an excellent starting point for experiences in some of the wildest and unspoilt nature that Denmark has to offer.

Little Wilderness Center
Lille Vildmose and the experience center are a must visit if you want unique nature experiences - with or without children. And you will find a really good starting point in the experience center. Start here and then head out into the bog. The animals are out there, and if you arm yourself with patience, you can have experiences like few others.
If you have children with you, they will also love the lookout tower and the large playground.

The Power of Water - 2022
June 28, 2022, this year's novelty, The Power of Water, is inaugurated with this invitation:
Do you dare to try your hand at the Power of Water?
Water is life! Water has created the landscape of Lille Vildmose, the peat of the raised bog and the lakes in the area. In the new dissemination area Vandets Kraft, visitors of all ages can play and learn about the enormous forces of water and its significance for everything living in the bog. Drain and re-establish the lakes in the bog on a mini model with locks and pumps, experiment with water at the water playground and go exploring in the meandering stream. There is also the opportunity for immersion with the sound of running water, buzzing insects and lust reflections in the water.
Activities and events
Little Wild Marsh is much more than looking. Throughout the year, Lille Vildmosecentret holds over 300 events and activities, where you get up close and behind the magnificent nature with all your senses.
You can e.g. join the popular, guided elk safari in Tofte Forest and learn how to cook game over a campfire. The events are many, so finally take a look at the event calendar via buttons below:

Opening hours 2022
The center is open April 1 - October 23, every day from 10.00 - 16.00.
In high season (June, July and August) it is open at 10.00 - 17.00.
Accommodation in Lille Vildmose
Is there accommodation in Lille Vildmose? Yes. You can stay overnight in shelters close to the center or at Lille Vildmose Bed & Breakfast.
Please note that it is not allowed to stay overnight in a motorhome at Lille Vildmosecentret.
