Free Will
Free Will is the name of the Thomas Dambo troll hiding in Maribo. The troll is five meters high, and it is decorated with the famous Thomas Dambo bird boxes.
You can find Free Will in Bangshaveskoen near the Open Air Museum and the Hylddalen amphitheater.
The story behind Free Will
"The Great Troll Festival" is the name of the project that arose due to Covid-19. Thomas Dambo should actually have built 25 trolls around the world, but due to the pandemic, Thomas flew to Denmark, where the troll folk party was created with the help of a lot of volunteer labor from locals around Denmark.
Free Will was inaugurated on Thursday 14 October 2021 during Maribo Craft Days at the Open Air Museum in Maribo.
