Europe's Best Amusement Park 2021 and 2022
Fårup Sommerland is impossible to avoid when we talk about experiences in North Jutland. The amusement park has been voted Europe's Best Amusement Park in both 2021 and 2022, where Denmark's largest roller coaster, Fønix, was also honored with the award as Europe's Best Amusement Park.

Main attraction for children
Aalborg Zoo is one of Denmark's most visited attractions, and the suburban zoo is a true classic and a big hit with families with children, which we can not miss.
Large experience center in Aalborg
Springeren in Aalborg is an experience center of 15,000 square meters packed with experiences. Here you can go down in a submarine, sail in a sailing simulator, visit Aalborg Mini City and dive into several exhibitions with history.

A little south of Skagen you will find Farm Fun in the town of Aalbæk. Here, the children can frolic for hours with the many activities.

If you haven't yet taken the kids on a hunt for Thomas Dambo's trolls, then you have something to look forward to! In Denmark we have 25 trolls, and in North Jutland you will find, for example, one in Thy, on Egholm near Aalborg and one in Mariager. A fabulous and very popular activity.

Just outside Aalborg, you will find Nymarksminde Farmpark, an experience for families with children, with lots of stuffed animals, activities and the possibility of a B&B farm holiday!

A monastery from the Middle Ages
Not far from Løkken you can find Børglum Kloster, which can be dated all the way back to the Middle Ages. The buildings are steeped in history, despite several restorations over time. You can visit the monastery and get an insight into its many years of history, see Børglum Kloster Church, or visit the museum where there are more than 15 exhibitions regarding art, history and culture.
At Christmas, a popular Christmas market is also held at Børglum Kloster, which is worth a visit!
