Wibergis Museum

In 2026, the Wibergis Museum will open its doors, which will tell the story of Viborg, which became a meeting place for power for 1,000 years.

What to look forward to in 2026

Museum Wibergis is located in the middle of the cathedral district in Viborg, inviting you on a journey through the city's history. With atmospheric scenography, animation, light and sound, the history comes alive.

The museum tells about Viborg's unique role in Danish history, as stories about kings, citizens and power during the time period. The exhibitions combine stories of the past with modern presentation and pay tribute to the aesthetics of the old building.
