Sæby is a beautiful small harbor town with lots of interesting places. The four routes combine the area's beautiful nature, with cozy urban environments and exciting highlights such as Strandpromenanden, Fruen fra Havet, Sæby Vandmølle and Gybels Plantage. An ideal way to experience Sæby.

National cycle route 5
The East Coast Route is one of the national cycle routes that runs for a total of 666 km from Skagen to Sønderborg.
Stage 1 goes through Sæby, so you can either start in Sæby and drive south or north and take a day trip to Skagen.
Nellemanns Have, founded in 1925, is a re-established paradise apple orchard with cultivated areas and garden/woodland areas. The garden has new larch hedges and a replanted rose bed from 1936. From 2010, 250 paradise apple trees were replanted. The garden includes a covered packed lunch house and nature playground. Free entry from sunrise to sunset all year round.
Main attraction for children
Many families with children on holiday in Sæby also choose to take the short trip to Aalborg Zoo, where you can spend a whole day with the many animals, playgrounds and events.
A real Renaissance castle, which since 1988 has functioned as a museum. The building itself is more than 600 years old
