The Botanical Gardens and the Arboretums in Aarhus are a beautiful and educational place for both children and adults. The garden is part of Aarhus University and offers a wide range of plants from all over the world. The Antiquities Museum
The Antiquities Museum at Aarhus University is an exciting museum dedicated to ancient art and culture. The museum houses an extensive collection of Greek, Roman and Egyptian artefacts, including sculptures, ceramics and coins.
The exhibitions offer a unique insight into the ancient world and its significance for the present. The Antikmuseet also organizes changing special exhibitions and events, which make every visit new and interesting.
The museum is open Monday-Friday at 12-16 and Saturday at 10-13, and there are free access for all visitors.
The museum has NOT open during the summer holidays from 1 July – and including Sunday 4 August.

Dokk1 is Aarhus' central cultural center and library, located on the waterfront. The modern building is a lively meeting point that offers a wide range of activities and services.

Godsbanen also houses creative workshops where artists and craftsmen work and exhibit their works. Take a trip up to the roof of the building for a fantastic view of the city of Aarhus.

Our Lady Church
Vor Frue Kirke in Aarhus is a historic church with a unique structure that consists of three churches in one. Aarhus Cathedral

The cathedral also houses Denmark's largest nave and an organ from 1730.

Thomas Dambo's trolls
In Central Jutland you can find nine of Thomas Dambo's fascinating trolls, created from recycled materials and hidden in nature. In the dark you will find Ben Chiller, who enjoy relaxing in the forest.
Elle hiding in a gravel pit in Viborg, while Jensnej playing in the woods near Brædstrup. In Silkeborg you can meet Laura and Julian, two trolls created to celebrate a wedding, as well Simon and Anine, which are also found in the forest areas.
Sigurd protects the forests in Norddjurs, and in Skanderborg stands the powerful one Strong Storm. Finally you can find Wild Emil, who loves nature, hidden away in the forests of Norddjurs.
These trolls are part of Dambo's art project, bringing adventurous experiences to life through the creative use of recycled materials.
