Visit Storhaven

Storhaven is fun for the whole family of all ages: pets, games, activities, farm shop and café with the famous Læsø ice cream and lots of delicious, local specialties.

Walk around Læsø

Læsø is a fantastic island in all seasons and is also about to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its seaweed roofs and brine. Go hiking and walk Læsø Rundt, a 55 km hiking route that takes you past a multitude of the island's highlights. Experienced hikers can do the hike in a day, but otherwise it is recommended to stay overnight in Østerby.

The NIsserut

Take the kids on the imaginative 3.6 km hiking trail and see if you can find all the elves along the way. On the trail you will encounter large climbing trees and walk over fun hills – there is room for lots of activities with the kids. If you go a little off the trail: You will be able to meet the Læsø Stone, which marks the place where you could first spot Læsø emerging from the Kattegat 3,000 years ago!

Spa & Wellness

Læsø Kur

For years, it has been popular for tourists, summer homeowners and islanders alike to take a trip to Læsø Kur. Unfortunately, the spa went bankrupt in February 2024, so it is currently not possible to visit the place.

Experience Læsø Saltsyderi

At the island's biggest attraction, Læsø Saltsyderi, you can take a free tour, make your own salt using old traditions or buy some of the very popular salt that has made the island famous. Hear the story of the famous Læsø Salt, see the old traditions and get an experience out of the ordinary. There is also a playground and in the summer there is a pancake stall.
