Frederikshavn Art Museum and Exlibris collection

Stop by Frederikshavn Art Museum and experience a large collection of local art. The collection consists primarily of works by the landscape painter Karl Bovin. The art museum also has new exhibitions 6-8 times a year, so it is a place you can visit several times and get many rich experiences in your backpack!

Heart path

The Heart Trail in Knivholt Forest is a 3.3 km long route organized by the Heart Association and Frederikshavn Municipality. It offers a path through the forest, marked to promote daily exercise, which both improves mood and counteracts lifestyle diseases.

Bangsbo Coastal Museum

The Bangsbo Coastal Museum is housed in the old manor house, which dates back to 1364 and is located in the idyllic Bangsbo area.

The children's bunker

If you take the trip past Bangsbo fort, you will also pass the Children's Bunker. The fort is particularly focused on conveying the story of war, peace and making room for diversity, all in a child-friendly way.
