Go on the Højlyngsstien

The Højlyngsstien stretches over 67 kilometers and is a fantastic hiking route that takes you across Bornholm and through some of the island's most breathtaking natural areas. The route takes you through Hammerknuden, Slotslyngen, Rutsker Højlyng, Rø Plantage, Almindingen, Ølene and Paradisbakkerne, where you will experience the old heather, where the rocks rise majestically and where farmers once grazed their animals. Although large parts of the old heather are now covered by forest, it is still here that some of Bornholm's most precious natural treasures are found.
