The Danish Dining Guide is a recognized dining guide published since 1978 by food critic Bent Christensen. The guide contains over 250 restaurants that serve food out of the ordinary in various price ranges.
To give you an overview, we bring here the list of the restaurants that are included in the Danish dining guide 2020, so you can find your way to memorable dining experiences at Denmark's most current restaurant locations.
In addition to lists for each region, you can see this year's nominations and winners of the more than 20 different prizes that the guide awards each year within a number of selected categories such as 'Fish Restaurant of the Year', 'Bo & Spis of the Year' and more.
Below you will find a definitive list, but you can see ours map of Denmark's gourmet restaurants, where we have gathered all the restaurants from this guide, White Guide, Michelin. You also download our app, and get an overall overview of the best (dining) experiences near you.

The capital abounds with world-class restaurant experiences, and is always ready to meet new trends. Copenhagen is the place where Denmark's understanding of cooking is pushed in new exciting directions.
It is also worth looking outside Copenhagen, where there is a solid selection of delicious dining experiences. Experience what Zealand, as well as Lolland-Falster, has to offer at the more classic end of Danish gastronomy.
Although Bornholm's size should perhaps not give rise to the great culinary experiences, the skin can certainly deceive. Bornholm has some notable restaurants that can compete with the country's absolute best.
On Funen, you will find an interesting range of restaurant experiences both in and outside Odense, where the understanding of pushing food experiences can be set up against even Copenhagen. Funen has plenty to offer for even the most discerning restaurant goer.
In northern Jutland, you will find both the cozy restaurant experience by the coasts and the more experimental approach to food in the streets of Aalborg. North Jutland has plenty to offer for most food lovers.
With Aarhus taking the torch as the country's second largest city, there is enough to catch up in Central Jutland. Central Jutland offers a wide range of exciting and innovative restaurants and inns, so there should probably be something for everyone.
Southern Jutland has a wide range of taste experiences, all of which can be enjoyed within a cozy and comfortable setting. Both the more classic Danish gastronomy, as well as more innovative approaches to food, will probably make the hungry sign up for all taste buds.
