Nørresø

Hiking route in romantic nature

The 5 km long hike around Nørresø is surrounded by old and romantic forest, and several places on the route it is possible to walk all the way down to the lake, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the winding lake shore.

All year round you can experience a rich bird life when you visit Nørresø. In the autumn, there are very good conditions for spotting greylag geese - they spend the night on the lake.

When you get to the eastern corner of Nørresø, you can experience Lucieø, which remarkably has a spring mite on the island. You can best spot the beautiful island from the easternmost point of the route, where you can follow a path down to the lake shore. At the lake shore there is a bench so you can take a rest at the same time.

After the walk around Nørresø, you can take the trip past Brahetrolleborg church, where you can experience a beautiful baptismal font in marble.
